There are times when sudden raining or snowing can make central lane markings on the road become invisible, thus causing traffic congestion or worst, traffic accidents. Buoyancy-Road design tries to solve this issue by automatically rising lane separator when water or snow obscures a road’s lane markings. This buoyant lane separator emerges due to its buoyant quality, therefore, when water or snow covers the road over the height of the traffic lane, it will raise this device automatically. In this way, drivers will still be able to recognize the position of the lane markings. Buoyancy-Road system can also be activated manually inthe case of a temporary lane reversal.

“Le Lapin” is a stapler based off of an abstract form of the rabbit. It is an exercise in the manufacturing process, demonstrating the appropriate uses of ribs and bosses, as well as draft angle. This product is made to be easily injection molded and contains only two exterior housing parts to reduce manufacturing costs and assembly costs as well as time.

Beyond Silence digital piano is a concept music instrument for hearing impaired people, especially children. It would be pretty difficult to grasp the idea of hearing impaired people listen to the music. How can they enjoy the music when they don’t even hear the sound?

People think hearing is the only way to enjoy the music, thus, isolating hearing-impaired people from the music. To challenge this perception, three Korean industrial designers have come up with “Beyond Silence” concept, focusing on the fact that hearing-impaired people can sense and feel the vibration of the music.

This concept also helps children to play the piano by feeling the wave and vibration of each tune from the resonance board. The bottom part of Beyond Silence digital piano concept has been designed with a diaphragm to create stronger vibrations and music waves for other hearing-impaired people to feel on the ground.

Cartel personal assistant device features LED display that informs its owner general information that allowsevery colleagues to quickly recognize who is the Cartel’s owner. The laser technology is able to project a touchable interface on almost all kind of surfaces and the integrated sensor will detect user’s fingers movements onto the projected interface.

The micro-perforated touchpad allows its user to customize the device as needed. There are a lot of productivity applications that can be installed on Cartel depending on the worker’s needs.

Johnny Winter is an American blues guitarist and singer, for decades he has relied on his beloved Gibson Firebird guitar. This electric guitar concept is a combination of Gibson and Johnny Winter.

For anyone who has ever listened to the Gibson Firebird must remember the classic sound came from this spellbinding guitar. Flavio Adriani tried to redesign the shape of the heart which represents the love of Blues. The neck of this electric guitar has been designed with the same shape as the body contour. It features two humbucking pickups near the volume control.

The stunning Bullet by Philip Pauley is a motorbike designed with four short wings and has an extraordinary twist. It has the tail fin combined with a compact jet engine at the back. Once the thruster is switched on, the bike will lift itself and its rider into the air. Bullet Flying Superbike flying performance on the track has sufficient lift through its extended wings. Bullet provides significantly higher speeds than could be expected from a track performance motorbike. When projected into the air it is as manouverable as a low level fly by from a jet fighter. It has additional fuel storage facilities and this can make a 300+mph assault making even the longest track seem very short. No pilot license is required for this but a winner’s mentality and balls of steel are a must.

Shavit electric superbike is a final graduation project of an industrial designer from Shenkar college ofdesign and engineering in Israel. The objective of his project is to design the ultimate everyday sportbike. This electric superbike has been designed with unique adjustable riding position system. This superbike can be transformed from multipurpose bike to superbike during the ride smoothly, adaptable to any situation. As you can see the changes are also applied to the handlebars, footpegs, and seat height. This superbike can transform from multipurpose bike to superbike in minutes. The power is within its rider.

This industrial designer has done extremely well in exploring new possibilities when it comes to create a sharp and aggressive superbike icon that would captivate any superbike riders’ heart.

Honda Chopper was born out of the idea of designing a motorcycle concept that doesn’t fall into categories of sleek, minimalist, or industrialist. The designer decided to go with his instincts and tried not to be overly influenced with particular style, in fact, his inspirations came from many sources such as clean lines of medical machinery, 70’s and 80’s marker drawings, a bit of manga, a bit of Speeder bike from “Return of the Jedi”.

This futuristic bike has been designed as purpose-built chopper with long front suspension, feet forwardseating position and a large footprint. The downward facing handlebars and central headlight (positioned under a scowling brow) add some attitude. Honda Chopper is powered by a biofuel engine with 2 smallelectric motors built into each wheel hub.

Honda, the chosen brand because this vehicle has a similar aesthetic to Honda Asimo robot. In the end, the designer wants the world to catch up with science fiction films and to prove that a vehicle that looks futuristic can actually be built using today’s technology.

Handy Wheel chair which due to its construction is very flexible for the users. The wheels are constructed in a way which enables the user to ascend one or two steps of a stairs. The design is particularly aimed towards children with various physical handicaps, and the construction will enable the child to participate in games and will also function as a “toy” to play with.
